Terms of Use

1. Who we are

These terms are an agreement between you and Formula Labs (“we”, “us”) for your use of the Quota app. Contact: hello@formula-lab.co.

2. Using Quota

We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Quota on Apple devices you own or control, in line with these terms and Apple’s Usage Rules. Don’t misuse the app, reverse-engineer it, or use it to break the law.

3. Not advice

Visa, immigration and tax rules are complex, change often and depend on your circumstances. Quota applies simplified versions of common rules (such as the Schengen 90/180 rule and tax residency thresholds) to the data you give it. Results can be wrong if trips are missing or mis-dated, if a rule has exceptions that apply to you, or if a rule changes. Counts marked “≈” are estimates. You are responsible for checking your own position before you travel or file.

4. Automatic features

Border detection, photo import and calendar import suggest trips based on your device’s data. They can miss or mis-date trips — review what they add.

5. Subscriptions

• Quota Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (for example weekly, monthly or yearly). Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. A free trial, if offered, converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
• Your subscription renews automatically at the same price and period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

6. Your data

Your trips and profile belong to you and are stored on your device and in your own iCloud. See our Privacy Policy for what we collect and why.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Quota accurate and available but can’t guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. We may update or change features. We may update these terms; continuing to use Quota after an update means you accept it.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Formula Labs is not liable for losses arising from decisions made on the basis of Quota’s counts — including fines, refused entry, visa consequences or tax liabilities — or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Quota in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Apple

These terms are between you and Formula Labs, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Quota or its content, has no obligation to provide support, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them. Apple’s standard licence terms also apply where these terms don’t cover something.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country.
